GCC at Nordic Game 2025: Join Us in Malmö!

The Games for Culture Cluster (GCC) is thrilled to announce its participation in the Nordic Game 2025 event, taking place in Malmö, Sweden, from 20–23 May 2025.

GCC will be represented by 4 projects, 12 partners and 15 delegates attending in person. Our delegation will be actively engaged across multiple activities at this premier European games industry event:

🕹️ GCC at the Expo & Showcase

Come meet us at the Expo & Showcase, where GCC projects will be presenting their work, exchanging ideas, and connecting with the wider games community.

🏛️ Games Policy Summit Participation

📍 20 May, 13:00 (local time)
GCC delegates will contribute to discussions on the future of games policy, representing the voice of cultural and research-driven initiatives within the gaming ecosystem.

🎓 GCC Workshops – 21 May

  1. Game Industry Workshop: “Games for Culture: Transforming Play through Research and Practice”
    This hybrid workshop is organized by GCC and is open to all Nordic Game attendees
    📍 21 May, 10:00-13:00 (local time) | Onsite meeting room at the venue
    🧍 Up to 25 in-person participants (event ticket required)
    🌐 Remote participation available for free
    🎯 This interactive session will explore how technologies, research and cultural initiatives are shaping the future of gaming.
  2. GCC Internal Meeting & Workshop: “Game On: Moving GCC Forward”

📍 21 May, 14:00-15:30 (local time) | Onsite meeting room at the venue
An exclusive hybrid meeting for GCC members to co-create, align future plans, and strengthen collaboration across the cluster.
